Feast of the Annunciation

25th March is the Feast of the Annunciation of the Lord. it is also the name of our parish church and a day for me to try out the idea of a blog. Wonder how it will go.
Today we celebrated the sacrament of Confirmation with the pupils from Loreto Grange Road Girls National School with Bishop Eamonn Walsh. It was a wonderful day. Dry and sunny outside. Cosy and prayerful inside.
Well done to all concerned.

Come Holy Spirit
Come, Holy Spirit. Fill the hearts of Your faithful and kindle is us the fire of Your Love.
Send forth Your Spirit and we shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.
Oh, God, Who by the Light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever rejoice in His consolation, through Christ our Lord. Amen

Hail Mary
Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,

pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of death. Amen.
